Colliers International has relocated its Miami office and announced plans to expand into Broward County in the wake of losing many of its top local brokers in 2014.
Avison Young acquired Abood Wood-Fay Real Estate Group, formerly the Colliers International affiliate in South Florida, in late 2014 and took several dozen employees, including more than a dozen brokers. Out of the 35 brokers, 19 stayed with Colliers, according to Colliers International.
Colliers International has now announced that it moved its Miami office to 601 Brickell Key, Suite 603 and its Palm Beach County office will remain at 450 PGA Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens. It has 24 employees in the South Florida market and is "poised for rapid growth," the company said.
