Developers Green Dragon Group are planning a boomerang-shaped mid-rise residential tower for NE 57th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, on the triangular site planned for the Kubik residential project in the last cycle. Called Fifty Seven, it's being designed by Sieger Suarez. The project appears to be about eight or nine stories in renderings, and will have only 84 residential units, starting at 2,000 square feet and going up to 4,700, with ground floor retail, an elevated pool deck, and the residential section wrapping around the rear edge of the site. The horizontal lines of the building appear to reflect the horizontality of the neighboring Andiamo pizza place next door, in its historic MiMo building, but in a modern way.
